  I love Ann Taylor! But this particular store is not kid friendly and the staff are incredibly rude. I went shopping with my cousin and her two-year-old twins (and when you have kids, you sometimes have to bring them into stores). I was trying to keep them occupied while she tried to find some clothes. Eventually, they found the sunglasses and the necklaces entertaining. I was picking up after them and if anything had broken, I would have bought it. I was trying to be as careful with them as possible! While their mom was looking at which necklace to buy with the shirt she picked out, the twins were looking at necklaces. The boy put a whole bunch on and the girl moved them from the shelf to the floor. I was picking them up when a male worker came over and got very upset with us. I can't remember the exact phrase he used, but he said "No, this is not ok" in about three different ways. I understand the position he was in, but there are much nicer ways to handle this situation. My cousin and I said "OK", and then picked things up. While she checked out (and if it were me, I wouldn't have bought anything), I took the kids outside. And then in came security. He called security on us. You don't have to like kids- I understand they aren't always "fun" to have in your store. But he handled the situation poorly. I assume he was the manager- and he shouldn't be!
